For 25 years, Dan has been working at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, where he was, within the Directorate of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, successively responsible for the relations with NGOs, for Humanitarian Aid, for Quality control and for Microfinance. From 2013 to 2016, he has lived with his family in Thailand, where he was posted at the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Bangkok. Since his return he has been working at the Protocol Department of the Ministry. Married for 23 years, he is the father of 3. In the municipality of Betzdorf, Dan has held for many years the position of president of the Association of Parents, he was representative for the parents at the School Committee and member of the Consultative Commission on Education. After the last elections, he was also a member of the Consultative Commission on Housing as well as the Consultative Commission on Communication. He is particularly interested in subjects close to his heart, such as citizen participation and municipal development. In his spare time, he enjoys painting, reading, writing and cooking and he is interested in art in general. He is also passionate traveler, but the most important things in his life are his family and his friends.
